For miserable performance of Congress in Polls, OPCC VP Pradeep Majhi resigns from post

Bhubaneswar, Apr 8: Vice President of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee, Pradeep Majhi has resigned from his post on Friday. He did so because of the miserable performance of the party in the recently concluded Panchayat polls in the State and he could not achieve what he had been entrusted with. Thus, on moral grounds he resigned from the OPCC post. Majhi’s decision has further brought to surface the internal disturbances plaguing the Congress. To this, Taraprasad Bahnipati stated that a lot of changes is needed and the party needs to be re-formed with the people who are there with the party and are working for the same which if not done on time will prove costly.
