Bhubaneswar, Dec 26: An MoU has been signed between the Odisha government and the New Delhi-based, Spectro Analytical Labs Ltd. The MoU states that the company would set up nine water testing labs in the State. These labs will be set up under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode in Cuttack, Balasore, Berhampur, Baripada, Sambalpur, Puri, and here. Also a state level lab will be established in the state capital. At the time of signing the MoU, Urban Development minister, Pushpendra Singhdeo was also present. He informed the media that the work will start from tomorrow and in the first package, labs will come up in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri and Berhampur and in the second package, the rest of the places will be covered.
