Naveen distributes Smart Health Card of BSKY in Mayurbhanj

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik distributed the smart health card of Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) and dedicated various development projects in Mayurbhanj district on Friday.

Inaugurating the event, Naveen himself awarded the smart health card to some beneficiaries of the district. Around 21.4 lakh people of the district can avail the benefits of the smart health card.

Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 534 projects worth Rs Rs 2481 crores. The projects include- drinking water, road and bridge construction, power and works related to the urban development department.

The Smart Health Card will be provided to 3.5 crore people of 96 lakh families, as decided by Government. Each family can avail treatment cost up to Rs 5 lakh per annum. Women members can avail this benefit up to Rs 10 lakh every year.
