Bhubaneswar, March 3: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Wednesday handed over appointment letters to 230 Assistant Executive Engineers of Works Department at a pre-induction workshop here he said the role of Works Department was important in the growth of the State.
At the pre-induction workshop the Chief Minister emphasised on creation of world class infrastructure for economic growth and role of Works Department in State’s progress.
Engineering aspects of road safety is also to be adhered added the Chief Minister.
He exhorted the engineers to pay special attention on preparing necessary design during road construction.
A web page of Odisha Road Assets Management process was unveiled on the occasion.
