Bhubaneswar: November 26: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today met captains of all 16 teams to be participated in the Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup and a Photo Shoot session was organised on the occasion at the backdrop of Mukteshwar Temple. Chief Minister is seen standing in the middle of 16 skippers near the World Cup.
The Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup will begin here at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar, on November 28. Best 16 teams shall play in the tournament for supremacy in front of spectators here.
The opening ceremony will be held on November 27 at Kalinga Athletics Stadium here. Music Maestro A.R. Rahman, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and actress Madhuri Dixit are slated to perform at the programme.
