Bhubaneswar, Oct 28: On Wednesday, Oct 26, Dr Santosh Kumar Kamila, the Indian Postal Service officer of 1986 batch assumed the charge of Chief Postmaster General, Odisha Postal Circle, Bhubaneswar. Prior to his joining he was on a deputation as Chief Vigilance Officer, Ordnance Factory Board, Kolkata till Oct 25, 2016.
He started his career in Department of Posts as Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Sundargarh Division. He has worked in different capacities in Odisha Postal Circle like Asst Postmaster General (PLI), Director Postal Services, Sambalpur Region, Postmaster General, Berhampur Region, etc.
He is Post Graduate in History from Utkal University. He has a vast experience in the area of Technology implementation, Mail management, Human Resource Management and Preventive Vigilance.
