Bhubaneswar, Oct 23: On Saturday, the newly appointed Health minister Pradip Amat said to the media persons that appropriate action will be taken against the persons responsible in the Sum Hospital fire mishap.
He further added that he will handle his responsibilities in the Health department properly, the same way as he has been handling the other responsibilities given to him by the Chief Minister till now.
Notably, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak resigned on Friday from his post of Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Odisha as the pressure went up against him on the issue of fire mishap at Sum Hospital. Finance Minister Pradip Amat was given the additional responsibility and was appointed as the new Minister of Health and Family Welfare. Amat is also a senior minister in the Chief Minister Cabinet.
