Puri, Sept 16: In the Niladri Bije incident, police has intensified the process for confiscation of properties of five absconding servitors of Sri Jagannath temple.
It’s stated that Damodar Mahasuara, Jayakrushna Mahasuara, Saina Khuntia, Bhimasen Palankadhari and Ipsit Pratihari own hotels, lodgings and many plots in their name. Jagannath Pradhan, Additional SP of Puri informed that letters have been sent to Puri sub collector, tehsildar, banks, municipality, PKDA and RTO regarding the submission of the details of the property owned by these absconding servitors and thus they have submitted some details.
After getting a detailed information a report will be prepared and taken to the SDJM court seeking permission to attach the accused servitors’ properties.
