Bhubaneswar, Feb 12: The students of several 662 category non-government Block Grant Colleges did not celebrate Saraswati puja as their institutions have remained closed due to strike by their teachers.
Students of these colleges made repeated rounds to their colleges almost every day to make preparation for the Puja but returned disappointed due to closed gates.
Some students said they were dedicating this puja in support to the cause of their teachers.
The lecturers and employees under the banner of AONGLEA have been sitting in dharana before the State Assembly to press for their demands, including full grant in aid and service condition.
