Odisha CM expresses his Govt’s commitment for the welfare of labourers


Bhubaneswar: November 19:‘Labourers are the strength of the Country and their contribution to build a nation is simply incomparable’, said Naveen Patnaik, Chief Minister of Odisha. Addressing the 14th State level summit of ‘Hind Mazdoor Sabha’ here on Saturday, Sri Patnaik said, ‘ It is my government’s responsibility to protect the rights and interests of the labourers and State Government has been implementing many welfare schemes for the welfare of our labourers’. Patnaik also stated that the government is fully committed to ensure all kinds of security for every worker including workers in unorganized sector. He further added, Biju Babu has taken many historical steps for the development of labourers which has been inspiring us to do more for the labourers. Patnaik also claimed that the State Government has made Kendu leaf pluckers as the business partners and has been providing dividends to them.
