Odisha CM kicks off Jana Samparka Jatra today

Bhubaneswar: October 02: BJD begins ‘Jana Samparka Jatra’ as announced on Sunday, the day of ‘Gandhi Jayanti’. The sole objective of this drive is to inform the people of Odisha regarding the various developmental initiatives taken by government. Chief Minister and BJD Supremo kicked off the exercise at Samantarapur Nuagaon, which will continue for a month this year.While addressing the occasion, Chief Minister said, this Programme of Party will speak the people about various welfare schemes undertaken by the BJD government and also centre’s neglect to Odisha particularly on the issues like Mahanadi and Polavaram. The march will be undertaken by the party leaders in every block and panchayat across the State for which 147 party observers have been appointed.
