Bhubaneswar, May 18: Yesterday the conferred students of the Dongria Kondh tribal community in Rayagada upon their successful clearance of the matric exams conducted by the BSE, Odisha. 35 students including 25 girls were felicitated by the Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik. These students have achieved even if they had miserable socio-economic conditions. The students were congratulated with tablets given by Patnaik at a special function held at the Secretariat. Praises poured in for the girl students of Kansur Educational Complex managed by Dongria Kondh Development Authority (DKDA) near Kalyansinghpur in the district for clearing the High School Certificate Examination. SC & ST Welfare Minister Ramesh Majhi said that the effort of Odisha Government is to ensure that how Dongaria and other tribe students excel in education.
