Odisha CM replies to BJP’s claim regarding the Mayurbhanj Medical College

Mayurbhanj: April 25: BJD Supremo Naveen Patnaik gave a reply to BJP and the Government at the centre with respect to their claims for Mayurbhanj Medical College here.

Addressing Public rally at Udala and Morada, Naveen said, ‘The State Government has spent 80% of the funds for setting up the Medical College. The centre has given only 20%’.

He further accused, ‘An Odiya Union Minister had opposed to this Mayurbhanj Medical College. The State Government had set up the College after seeking permission from Supreme Court’s Empowered Committee’.

Also, Odisha Chief Minister raised the issue of stopping scholarship to the SC-ST students and Railway expansion in Mayurbhanj district.

He said, ‘No National Party will get majority at the centre. So, it is a golden opportunity for us to play a significant role in the formation of Government at the centre.’

Naveen sought the blessings of people and also appealed the public to cast their vote for conch symbol.

BJD Supremo addressed the voters at Bangiriposi, Saraskana and Rairangpur assembly constituencies.
