Bhubaneswar: April 16: Odisha Government has announced early closure of Schools and other Educational Institutions for Summer Vacation from April 18.
All the schools and other educational institutions in the State will be closed from April 18, informed Special Relief Commissioner Bishnupada Sethi. Government has taken this decision due to prevailing heat wave conditions.
A letter was issued by Joint Commissioner of Relief Pravat Ranjan Mohapatra directing School and Mass Communication Department to take necessary steps.
Maximum temperature has touched 40 degree Celsius in some of the places of Odisha and Regional Meteorological Centre has predicted that there will be no major change in day temperature across the state during the next two days.
