Bhubaneswar: October 11: Few Secretaries of Odisha Government have been assigned to oversee the development in 10 aspirational districts of the state.
As per a notification, Agriculture Production Commissioner P.K. Mohapatra will oversee the development in Dhenkanal district; Women and Child Development Secretary Anu Garg in Rayagada district;Agriculture Secretary Sourabh Garg in Koraput district; Panchayati Raj Secretary D.R.K Singh in Kalahandi district; Home Secretary Sanjeev Chopra in Kandhamal district; Industries Secretary Hemanta Sharma in Nabarangpur district;Higher Education Secretary Saswat Mishra in Nuapada district; Skill Development and Technical Education Secretary S.K. Singh in Gajapati district; Health Secretary Pramod Mumar Meherda in Bolangir district and Cooperation Secretary V.V. Yadav in Malkangiri district.
The officials shall follow up the 49 indicators across five sectors like health and nutrition, education, agriculture and water resources, financial inclusion and skill up-gradation and basic infrastructure development.
