Odisha Govt increases the monthly special diet allowance to Policemen

Bhubaneswar, Oct 8: The State government has increased the monthly special diet allowance given to Havildars, Constables and Sepoys working with the Odisha Police to Rs 1,500 from Rs 900, said Principal Secretary of Home department Asit Tripathy yesterday here. The State government has paid one month additional salary to the Havildars, Constables and Sepoys recently with maximum limit of Rs 20,000. Besides, the State has given the special allowance for completion of work to SOG, SIW, DVF personnel and constables, sepoys engaged on contract basis in naxal-hit areas at a predetermined rate, Tripathy informed.
