Bhubaneswar: May 04: School and Mass Education department is trying to introduce board examinations in Class V and VII.
School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra said, “Basing on the inputs from parents and educationists, we have formed the opinion that we should have board examination in class V and VII level’.
The department has already informed the Union Human Resources Ministry seeking permission to introduce the board examinations at primary and upper primary levels. If it introduced, government schools will have one type question papers. Besides, pass or fail will be introduced in the proposed board exam.
