Odisha Govt to probe al-Qaeda suspect’s visit to Secretariat

Bhubaneswar, Dec 25: Odisha govenrment has decided to probe the reported visit of suspected al-Quaeda terrorist Abdur Rahman, who was recently arrested in Odisha, to the State Secretariat on October 7.

State Higher Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra said on Thursday that the department will probe the matter. However, he claimed that he never met any person in the name of Abdur Rahman.

Rahman, who has been arrested on the charge of having links with the AQIS on December 16, had allegedly visited the administrative office with pass issued by the secretariat reception.
