Bhubaneswar, May 17: Today the Odisha government gave order to conduct an investigation into the alleged environmental imbalance created by KIMS, KISS and KIIT. Special secretary of Forest & Environment department has instructed the Khurda Collector to conduct the investigation and take necessary action against the institutions. Notably, petitioner Subash Mohapatra had alleged that these three institutes have created an environmental imbalance in Chandrasekharpur here by constructing buildings, school and hospital thus violating environmental laws and water & air acts. On the other hand, the institutes’ officials have refused to comment on the matter stating that they have still not received any such allegation legally.
