Odisha Police detained three crew members of a ship from Dhamra port

Bhubaneswar: June 17: On Thursday, three foreign crews, one from Australia and the other two from Philippines of an Australian ship were detained at Dhamra Port for their alleged suspicious activities. They were found using satellite phones. Hence, the marine police have seized their visa, passport and satellite phone and are interrogating them at an unknown place.

Notably, three days before on Monday night, the State government had issued a ‘Leave-India’ notice to eight such Chinese officials working at the same place in Bhadrak district for violating the visa rules as per the order of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
