Bhubaneswar, Mar 11: In a meeting yesterday, 28 projects of Odisha government under various sectors were reviewed by a cabinet committee to accelerate their implementation.
Chief Secretary Aditya Padhi chairing the Cabinet Committee Investment Project Monitoring Group meeting fixed a timeframe to complete the projects. Other important personalities who joined the meeting were Subha Kumari, Joint Secretary, PMO & S D Sharma, Director, PMO. The meeting also reviewed various progress in the ongoing mega projects like Railways, National Highways, Coal & Power sectors.
Talking to the media, CS Padhi said, “we have reviewed the projects & the issues of implementation were also resolved. Other than this, rehabilitation issues, shifting of utilities, forest clearance, compliance with forest diversion proposals, compensatory afforestation, evacuation of enroachment from acquired land, DGP survey and disbursement of compensation were also discussed”.
