Bhubaneswar: October 19: Odisha reported 1982 new Corona Positive Cases in last 24 hours. Of this, 1,156 are quarantine cases and rest 826 are local contact cases.
According to the information provided by I & PR Department, Khurda District has registered 300 new cases in last 24 hours, followed by Cuttack 145 cases, Angul 119 cases, Mayurbhanj 107 cases, Sundergarh 98 cases, Bolangir 88 cases, Balasore & Jajpur 86 cases each, Puri 72 cases, Kendrapara 65 cases, Bhadrak 63 cases, Keonjhar 59 cases, Dhenkanal & Jagatsinghpur 55 cases each, Nabarangpur 52 cases, Jharsuguda 50 cases, Bargarh 46 cases, Sonepur 45 cases, Kalahandi 43 cases, Koraput 42 cases, Malkangiri 41 cases, Sambalpur 38 cases, Nuapada 37 cases, Nayagarh 33 cases, Ganjam 24 cases, Kandhamal 23 cases, Deogarh 14 cases, Boudh 11 cases, Gajapati & Rayagada 10 cases each and State Pool 65 cases.
With 1982 new cases, total cases in the State increased to 2,70,346 and out of that, 2,46,837 patients have already recovered from the disease.
As reported, in last 24 hours, 17 patients have died due to coronavirus and with this, total death toll reached 1152.
At present, 22,304 cases are active in Odisha.
