Bhubaneswar: May 08: 26 new coronavirus cases were reported today morning in Odisha. Out of 26 new cases, Ganjam has 19 cases whereas Kendrapara and Bhadrak has 5 and 2 cases respectively.
All 26 new cases are Male persons and have returned from Surat.
As information provided by I & PR Department’ tweet, all are symptomatic.
Total confirmed cases in Odisha reached 245.
As per the information given on the website of Odisha Health & Family Welfare Department:
Ganjam’s total rose to 47 and all cases are active.
Kendrapara’s total rose to 8. Out of which, 2 patients have recovered and 6 cases are active.
Bhadrak’s total rose to 23. Out of which, 12 patients have already recovered and 11 are active cases.
