Bhubaneswar: July 03:Odisha has reported highest single day spike of 561 new COVID-19 cases. Ganjam district of Odisha is the most affected district among the districts of Odisha. It has recorded 283 new cases in a single day, followed by Cuttack (81), Rayagada (76), Khurda (26), Bargarh (21), Bolangir (19), Mayurbhanj (10), Sambalpur (8), Jagatsinghpur (6), Keonjhar (6), Kalahandi (5), Koraput (4), Sundergarh (3), Jajpur (3), Dhenkanal (3), Jharsuguda (2), Kandrapara (2), Puri (1) and Bhadrak (1).
One NDRF personnel has also tested Positive.
Out of 561 cases, 425 were in quarantine and rest 136 are local cases.
Total cumulative positive cases in Odisha rose to 8106.
