Bhubaneswar: July 29: Odisha reported 1068 new COVID Positive cases in last 24 hours. With this, total number of cases increased to 29,175. Out of 1068 newly reported cases, 662 are Quarantine cases and rest 406 Local Contact Cases.
Ganjam District continued to be worst-hit district in the State with 245 new cases in 24 hours, followed by Khurda with 194 cases and Sundergarh with 112 cases.
88 new cases have been reported from Gajapati District, followed by 66 from Koraput, 61 from Cuttack, 29 each from Balasore & Nayagarh, 26 each from Balangir & Nabarangpur, 24 from Rayagada, 21 from Sambalpur, 20 each from Angul & Mayurbhanj, 19 from Kalahandi, 16 from Puri, 12 each from Jajpur & Jharsuguda, 11 each from Kandhamal & Nuapada, 8 from Kendrapara, 5 from Bargarh, 4 from Bhadrak, 3 from Jagatsinghpur, 2 each from Deogarh & Sonepur and 1 each from Dhenkanal & Malkangiri.
