Bhubaneswar: May 08: Odisha reported 11,807 fresh COVID positive Cases in last 24 hours. Of this, 6613 people were in quarantine and rest 5194 are from local contacts.
Sundergarh district registered 1922 new cases in a day, which is highest among districts, followed by Khurda 1510, Cuttack 1052, Angul 560, Sambalpur 533, Puri 454, Bolangir 437, Bargarh 428, Jharsuguda 421, Nawarangpur 419 and Kalahandi 402 cases.
27 districts reported more than 100 cases in Odisha.
Total cases in Odisha increased to 5,24,207 and out of that, 4,31,658 patients have already recovered from the disease.
At present, 90,335 active cases are there in Odisha.
