Odisha registered 141 new Covid Positive Cases on 23rd December. Out of that, 19 patients are under 18 years’ old. Also, as informed by I & PR Department, 84 people were in quarantine and found positive. Rest 57 are local contact cases.
172 patients have recovered from the disease yesterday and with this, total recoveries in Odisha reached 1043391. On the other side, with fresh 141 cases, total cases in Odisha (since the beginning of the pandemic) increased to 1053645.
Active Caseload stands at 1751.
16 Districts of Odisha reported cases in single digits and 11 districts do no have fresh cases on 23 December.
Only three Districts reported cases in double digits. Those are Khurda (58), Cuttack(12) and Kendrapara (10).
2 more deaths recorded during last 24 hours and total death toll due to Covid-19 increased to 8,450.
57, 967 tests have been conducted in 24 hours and 141 samples are found to be positive. Daily Positivity Rate remains at 0.24 per cent.
