Odisha reports 2239 new COVID-19 Positive Cases; Total tally rises to 64,533

Bhubaneswar: August 18: Odisha reported 2239 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours. Of this, 1416 people were in Quarantine and rest 823 are local contact cases.

Out of 2239 new cases, 419 are from Khurda, 246 from Ganjam, 147 from Nayagarh, 130 from Balasore, 120 from Rayagada, 117 from Cuttack, 91 from Koraput, 90 from kandhamal, 80 from Mayurbhanj, 75 from Jajpur, 73 from Bhadrak, 72 from Keonjhar, 66 from Bolangir, 64 from Sundergarh, 55 from Malkangiri, 53 each from Sambalpur & Boudh, 51 from Bargarh, 42 from Gajapati, 40 from Puri, 36 from Dhenkanal, 26 from Jagatsinghpur, 24 from Sonepur, 21 from Kalahandi, 14 from Nabarangpur, 13 from Jharsuguda, 8 from Nuapada, 7 from Kendrapara and 6 from Angul District.

According to Health & Family Welfare Department’s data, total cases in Odisha increased to 64,533 and 43,780 patients have already recovered from the disease. Now, 20,338 cases are active in Odisha.

9 Corona Positive patients died in last 24 hours, pushing the total death toll to 362.
