Odisha reports 524 new Covid Cases
Odisha reported 524 fresh Covid-19 cases during last 24 hours, pushing state’s total (since the beginning of the pandemic) to 10,37,056. Of which, 10,23,849 patients have recovered from the disease so far including 451 new recoveries reported yesterday.
2 more deaths have been registered and with this, overall death toll reached 8,298.
82 cases are under 18 years’ of age. Also, from 524 new cases, 308 people were in quarantine and rest 216 are local contact cases.
Active caseload stands at 4856. Daily Positivity Rate 0.76%.
Khurda District reported 254 new cases, which is 48 percent of total cases.
8 more districts reported cases in double digits and rest are in single digits.
