Odisha registered 5057 fresh Covid Cases today, pushing State’s total (cases since the beginning of the pandemic) to 12,36,396.
Of 5057 new cases, 667 are under the age group of 0-18 years’. Also, as informed by Odisha H & FW Department, 2932 are quarantine cases and 2125 are local contact cases.
Khurda District reported 1111 new cases in a day, followed by Cuttack 495 cases, Sundergarh 429 cases, Nayagarh 217 cases, Balasore 202 cases and also, 225 cases have been detected from the state pool.

11,157 patients have recovered yesterday and with this, total recoveries reached 11,63,396.
10 more deaths have been recorded in last 24 hours and with this, total death toll increased to 8560.
61,635 swab tests have been conducted in last 24 hours and out of which, 5057 are found to be positive. Daily Positivity Rate remains at 8.20 percent.
