Odisha reports 170 Covid-19 New Cases; No cases in10 Districts

Bhubaneswar: August 6: Odisha registered 1,699 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours. Of this, 1073 persons were in Quarantine and rest 626 cases are Local Contact Cases. Total number of cases in the State increased to 40,717.

In last 24 hours, 268 cases were reported from Ganjam, 220 from Khurda, 178 from Sundergarh, 105 from Cuttack, 101 from Sambalpur, 81 from Bargarh, 74 from Kandhamal, 72 from Malkangiri, 67 from Puri, 66 from Bhadrak, 59 from Gajapati, 56 from Keonjhar, 41 each from Jajpur & Koraput, 30 from Kalahandi, 27 each from Dhenkanal & Kendrapara, 25 from Nayagarh, 24 from Mayurbhanj, 21 from Bolangir, 19 from Rayagada, 17 each from Angul & Balasore, 16 each from Jagatsinghpur & Nawarangpur, 10 each from Sonepur & Jharsiguda, 8 from Boudh and 3 from Nuapada.

Out of total 40,717 cases so far, 25,738 patients have recovered and 14,699 patients are under treatment.

Today, Odisha recorded 10 deaths due to COVID-19 and with this, total death toll rose to 235. Besides, 45 COVID Positive patients died due to other illnesses.
