Bhubaneswar, Nov 30: The state government will soon seek technical knowledge from the Chicago University on energy efficiency and pollution control.
A meeting between delegations from the University with CS Padhi, and others revealed this at the secretariat today, said sources.
Briefing the media the Development Commissioner notified about the engagement with the Chicago University during the visit of James Nye to the Odisha Knowledge hub. He added, while the University centre at Delhi has a strong presence in the country and is currently busy on certain areas of energy efficiency and environment pollution in many states, the state government is now looking towards collaborating with it.
At a later stage in future the government will also look forward at a collaboration to send teams for capacity-building training on specific areas and give them an international exposure.
