Odisha reports 170 Covid-19 New Cases; No cases in10 Districts

Bhubaneswar: August 30: Odisha reported 3,014 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours. Out of that, 1868 people were in quarantine and rest 1146 are local contact cases.

As reported by Health & Family Welfare Department, today, Khurda District registered 684 new cases, followed by Cuttack (337), Mayurbhanj (292), Ganjam (216), Balasore (138), Bargarh (124), Koraput (120), Puri (118), Rayagada (104), Sambalpur (102), Sundergarh (91), Keonjhar (68), Jagatsinghpur (66), Kandhamal (60), Dhenkanal & Malkangiri (49 each), Jharsuguda (45), Kendrapara & Sonepur (44 each), Bhadrak & Kalahandi (40 each), Jajpur & Nabarangpur (38 each), Bolangir (35), Nayagarh (29), Angul (25),Gajapati (9), Nuapada (7) and Deogarh 2 cases.

With this, total cases in the State increased to 1,00,934.

Also, according to H & FW Department, in last 24 hours, 12 people died due to COVID-19 and the total death toll rose to 482.

So far, 70,714 patients have recovered from the disease and at present, 29,685 patients are under treatment.
