Odisha reports 170 Covid-19 New Cases; No cases in10 Districts

Bhubaneswar: September 17: Odisha reported 4,241 new COVID Positive cases in last 24 hours. Out of which, 2,502 are quarantine cases and rest 1739 are local contact cases.

According to Health & Family Welfare Department’s information, in last 24 hours, Khurda District has reported 647 new cases, followed by Cuttack 389 cases, Puri 291 cases, Sundergarh 154 cases, Jajpur 150 cases, Bargarh 149 cases, Mayurbhanj 147 cases, Balasore 141 cases, Sonepur 129 cases, Jagatsinghpur 126 cases, Kandhamal 116 cases, Kalahandi 114 cases, Jharsuguda 111 cases, Nabarangpur 107 cases, Kendrapara 103 cases, Nuapada 99 cases, Koraput 98 cases, Boudh & Nayagarh 94 cases each, Sambalpur 91 cases, Dhenkanal 86 cases, Angul 84 cases, Keonjhar 77 cases, Ganjam 75 cases, Bhadrak 72 cases, Rayagada 66 cases, Bolangir 44 cases, Malkangiri 28 cases, Gajapati 23 cases, Deogarh 6 cases and 330 cases from State Pool.

As on date, total cases in Odisha increased to 1,67,161.

Also, as per H & FW Department, 13 patients have died in last 24 hours due to COVID-19. With this, total death toll in the State reached 669.

So far, 1,29,859 patients have recovered from the disease and 36,580 patients are under treatment.
