Bhubaneswar: September 01: Odisha reported 3025 fresh Corona Positive Cases in last 24 hours. Out of that, 1844 people were in quarantine and rest 1181 are local contact cases.
According to the information provided in the Health Department’s Website, in last 24 hours, Khurda district has registered 666 fresh cases, followed by Cuttack (312), Mayurbhanj (215), Ganjam (207), Koraput (139), Puri (136), Dhenkanal (132), Kendrapara (128), Bhadrak (94), Jajpur (85), Samabalpur (83), Kalahandi (82), Nuapada (79), Jagatsinghpur (78), Nayagarh (67), Bargarh (61), Jharsuguda (59), Angul (58), Sundergarh (56), Keonjhar (50), Nawarangpur (46), Balasore (40), Malkangiri (32), Gajapati (29), Bolangir (24), Kandhamal & Sonepur (22 each), Rayagada (13), Boudh (9) and Deogarh (1).
With this, total cases in Odisha increased to 1,06,561. Yesterday, record number of patients (4053) have recovered from the disease and the total recoveries in the State rose to 77,286.
As per Health & Family Welfare Department’s information, 11 patients succumbed to the disease in last 24 hours and total death toll in the State reached 503.
At present, 28,719 cases are active in the State.
