Bhubaneswar, May 20: Although not popular but she is a pride of Odisha. Jayanti Behera has won two medals, one gold and one silver at the China Open Para Athletics Grand Prix championship. She won the gold medal in the 400 meters race at the championship by recording a time of 1.02 minutes. Her this timing has made her reach to the London World Para Athletics championship that is scheduled to be held in Jul 2017. She has also bagged a silver in the 200 m race recording a timing of 28.50 seconds. Jayanti arrived at the Bhubaneswar railway station today with pride and achievement in the form of medals carrying in her hand. Odisha CM and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan both of them congratulated Jayanti through their Twitter account.
