Maoists hideout in Bargarh forest busted; Large amount of explosives recovered

Bhubaneswar, May 20: In a breakthrough joint operation by the DVF & CRPF led by SP B Jugal Kishore, 8kgs of gun powder, several tiffin bombs, hand grenades, LED lights, arrows, Maoist literature and clothing were recovered early yesterday near the Gandhamardhan hill in Bargarh district.

The combing operation that was taken out following a tip-off, busted out the maoist hide out in the area along with recovering huge amount of explosives.

SDPO Laxminarayan Parida stated to media that they had got information about the red rebels sneaking into the area following the attack on the CRPF camp in neighbouring  Chhattisgarh. As a result, regular combing operation was being carried out in Bargarh.
