Bhubaneswar: May 17: The Health and Family Welfare Department has revised the death toll due to COVID-19 in Odisha from 5 to 4.
As said by department, one of the two deaths in Ganjam District was suspected due to coronavirus, but the Test report received from the laboratory is negative. So, till date, only 4 persons have died in Odisha due to COVID-19.
The 2nd death of Ganjam district yesterday was suspected Covid. Test report received from the laboratory now is negative for COVID-19.
Hence total Covid deaths of Odisha stand at 4.
