Bhubaneswar, Mar 27: On Sunday at the Misrana Parva held at the BJP party headquarters, General Secretary of the Biju Chhatra Janta Dal (BCJD) Rashmi Ranjan Mohapatra joined BJP. Around 100 activists of BJD and Congress from Bhubaneswar, Banki, Niali and Ganjam also joined the party. A warm welcome was given to all of them by the BJP state president Basant Panda. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan officially made the announcement of them joining the party. Upon the joining, Mohapatra stated that the reason of joining BJP is that the party works by the principles and ideology of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and has also initiated various developmental schemes undertaken by the Centre.
