OSCPCR begins investigation into alleged malnutrition death of 4-year old in Keonjhar

Bhubaneswar, May 6: Yesterday the Odisha State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (OSCPCR) has started investigation into the death of the 4-year-old child in Bampadi of Ghasipura block in Keonjhar. The OSCPCR secretary Nibedita Mishra and Rajlaxmi Dash had visited Keonjhar yesterday earlier and conducted an assessment on the malnitrition situation to investigate into the alleged death of the malnourished girl, Chumki. The child rights members also met the sick parents of the dead child who are admitted at the Keonjhar district hospital. Later, the team gave an assurance to provide all possible assistance and also an establishment of an Anganwadi centre in the area at early as possible.
