Bhubaneswar: July 27: Seven people, including the brains behind the question paper leak for the JE (Civil) Main Written Examination of the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC), have been arrested by the Balasore police.
All seven suspects, including the case’s mastermind, have been arrested from Bihar. The question papers for the JE (Civil) Main Written Exam from the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) had been leaked by the gang.
Balasore police will remand the accused for further questioning to elicit more information about how they managed to leak the question papers and obtain the contact information of the aspirants.
Earlier, the police had arrested nine persons in connection with the case from West Bengal.
It is worth noting that the OSSC canceled the Main Written Examination for JE (Civil) conducted on July 16, 2023, after Balasore SP confirmed the question paper leak incident.
