Parlakhemundi, Bhubaneswar, Oct 1: The Odisha Crime Branch would interrogate the Paralekhemundi MLA K Surya Rao as a part of the investigation into suicides of Ananga Manjari Patra, the palace manager of Parala royal Gopinath Gajapati Narayan Deb, and three of her siblings.
As per the information from a senior Crime Branch official, the suicide note that was recovered from the Jangam Sahi residence of Ananga Manjari Patra by the police contains the name of Surya among 8 other persons along with names of some institutions. The Crime Branch will be interrogating these persons as a part of its interrogating process that will begin from October 3.
While three including Ananga had died after consuming poison, Tulu Patra, who was rescued from the spot in a critical condition, died at MKCG Medical College the following day.
