Prime Minister, Narendra Modi renewed the government offer to talk with protesting farmers and criticised the political parties reneged in the same, while replying to the ‘motion of thanks’ on president’s address, in rajya sabha, today. The house was filled with 50 people of 25 different parties in the upper house of parliament.
On MSP, PM Narendra Modi reiterated in parliament, enlightening farmer’s concern on ‘MSP’ and asked the parties to keep their grudge aside, he said, “MSP is there, MSP was there, MSP will remain in the future. Affordable ration for the poor will continue along with the work of modernisation of Mandis. For the welfare of farmers, we need to rise above political calculations.”
PM cautioning against the forces who are trying to destabilise the country. He said, “the country is very proud of the contribution made by the Sikh community. The blessings of Guru Sahib’s are precious. I insist the people to rather make an attempt to make bridge between urban-rural divide”. Further, the PM highlighted many scheme since 2014, undertaken for the welfare of country’s farmer like- PM-KISAN, PMFBY, Kisan Credit Card, Soil Health Card, Samman Nidhi, PM Gramin Sadak Yojana (for improving road connectivity) for easy access of farmer’s products to distance places.
His focus on new opportunities can be foreseen in northeast zones which will aids to boost the development of India. After, several steps has been undertaken for normalising the naxal affected areas and the northeast.
