Bhubaneswar, Jan 12: As compared to last year, revenue collected in the form of mining royalty and stamp registration fee has declined this year due to demonetisation. This was informed by Odisha Finance secretary, Tuhinkant Pandey to the media. This was noticed in the review meeting of the department which was chaired by Chief Secretary, Aditya Padhi at the State Secretariat, here today. Padhi added to this that however, by the end of the financial year, the fact will be clear cut. He also said that the Odisha’s treasury system has achieved notable progress, thus stating that the collapses in the finances will improve in the coming 2-3 months.
