Bhubaneswar, Aug 15: On Sunday two groups clashed with each other over the sermons of self-proclaimed godman Santosh Raul aka Sarathi Baba at Jaripada village under Tangi police limits in Khurda district.
Sources reveal that the supporters of Raul had arranged a preaching programme to which the opponents had objected. When the event started, the group objecting it tore the posters and banners put at the meeting place and started throwing stones at the people listening to the sermons. The supporters too acted in retaliation. On receiving information, police immediately reached the spot and brought the situation under control. No one was injured in the incident.
