Bhubaneswar: March 21: So far, Puri Police have arrested total six persons, including two main accused involved in the sensational murder case of Jagannath Temple Servitor Krushna Chandra Pratihari, who was a member of Suar Mahasuar Nijog.
Pratihari was shot dead by miscreants on March 16.
The arrested persons have been identified as Kalia Singhari, his son Dalgobinda Singhari, Kalu Panigrahi, Munna Patra, Baba Mohapatra and Sandeep Jena. Kalia Singhari is the brother of Guna Singhari, who was murdered in 2012.
Puri SP Kanwar Vishal Singh said, search operation is underway to nab three others and they will be arrested soon.
SP said, ‘As known so far, the reason behind the elimination of Krushna Pratihari, is to take revenge. However, there might be other reasons too which are under investigation’.
As said by Police, Kalia Singhari and Dolagobinda Singhari had hired Kalu Panigrahi to plan and execute the crime. Muna Patra had supplied weapons.
