Body of one of the students, who was missing following the drowning mishap, has been recovered from beach near Chakratirtha road of Puri.
The student was from West Bengal and identified as Arbaaj Qadir. The body has been recovered from Pink house on Chakratirtha road this morning after several hours of search operation by lifeguards.
His body has been sent for post-mortem.
Sources said, three students from Aeronautical Institute in Kolkata were swept away while they were bathing in the sea near the Lighthouse on Thursday.
Locals and lifeguards immediately started the rescue operation and could rescue two of them in critical condition on Thursday. They are getting treatment in hospital now.
The students rescued, are identified as Rakesh Kumar Singh, a resident of Bhadrak district, and the other, Om Prakash Yadav, a native from Angul in Odisha.
But, the third student’s body has been recovered today.
