Bhubaneswar, Jan 17: Three-day Rajarani Music Festival will kick start here from Monday at the historical Rajarani temple.
Classical music like Odissi, Hindustani and Karnataki along with the presentation of flute recital will be the chief attraction during the 3-day event at the beautiful courtyard of Rajarani Temple in Bhubaneswar organised jointly by Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi, Tourism Development Corporation and Tourism department.
The festival is being held every year since 2002 where veterans such as Ustad Abdul Halim Jaffer Khan, Sanjeev Abhyankar, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, Meeta Pandit, TN Seshagopalan, Ustad Baha’ud’din Mohiuddin Dagar, Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan, Ustad Dilshad Khan, Begum Parveen Sultana, Padmabhushan TN Seshan, Rajan and Sajan Mishra brothers have participated.
