Rayagada, August 11: The Rayagada district administration has taken a decision to establish two Maa Gruhas and a delivery point in Kalyansinghpur block, with an aim to provide better healthcare facility to expectant mothers in the district. Bike ambulance might also be introduced in the block as per the plan of the administration.
After identifying hard-to-reach areas in the district, Punam Tapas Kumar, Rayagada Collector informed that a decision to establish the Maa Gruhas in Badadwara and Parasali has been taken.
Previously, after media reports about the difficulties of expectant mothers to reach the local hospital, the Collector had inspected the ground situation in the block.
