Bhubaneswar, Dec 29: After a meeting between the technical core committee and Suresh Mohapatra, Chief administrator of Shri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) it has fixed that the repair work of Jagmohan of Shri Jagannath Temple would begin from February 2017.
The portal steel frame design made by the Works department has been approved by the technical core committee, informed Mohapatra.
For fabrication, 12 mm thick steel palates would be purchased. After the fabrication, the stones remove work from the floor will be started from February first week by ASI. Works department will perform all the work and the whole work would be finished before the Snana Purnima, 2017, Mohapatra stated.
The meeting was attended by ASI Joint Director General, Works secretary and Technical Core Committee members.
